Vertical Limits

Remember how in Kemahiran Hidup (KH), we used to learn that big sized people should wear vertical stripes to look thinner? Okay, I clearly wasn't paying attention when the teacher was teaching that part! *Note to self: Learn to stick chin out so as to not obscenely reveal double chin. Aihh...

This photo was taken on my 3rd day in London, before the Pinnochio play at the Royal Opera place. It was very interesting, although a rather intimidating experience because the event was organised by posh Brits -- and I didn't understand their accent, so I just ended up smiling & nodding at all the wrong times! Hahaha... by the way, that's Vanessa's older sister, Stephanie, on the far right! She's a very fashionable girl!~

Ta-da! The wonderful family who very kindly let me stay in their home, using their hot water! Hahaha, all right, I was not originally in this picture -- I thought it'd be nice to let them have their own family picture, but then they were like, "No, don't be silly, come here"... therefore... there I am... intruder upon the Tan family picture! I look like such a tourist in that photo, don't I? Ahaha! Well, I really felt quite out of place in the beginning, right after my parents returned home to M'sia -- but after a few hours mingling with friends who were London locals, I felt quite at home! My slang even changed ... just a little bit. Less "lah"s lah, haha.

On a lighter note, I also put on too much make-up for the Pinnochio play! I ended up looking like I was permanently blushing, or very red from drinking alcohol.... this is what happens when people don't look in the mirror when applying make-up on.
